Thesis (m/f/d) Pre-development – Development of a test setup and execution of measurement studies on hydraulic pressure control valves

RAPA stands for the continuous further development and qualification of existing products and the design of new ones. In the area of pre-development, there is a need to develop a test setup for investigating hydraulic pressure control valves. This test set-up is used to test the valve function on the overall valve and the subsystem. This is intended to determine the valve-specific system variables on the basis of established measurement studies. In particular, accompanying the complete process from the development and construction of the test setup to the execution and evaluation of the measurements offers an exciting topic for a committed student (m/f/d) within our pre-development department.

Your tasks

Familiarization with the “Creo Parametric” software, the modeling of test blocks and the RAPAtypical structure of hydraulic valve measurements
Development of a test setup for measuring the RAPA hydraulic valves, construction of the test setup and procurement of the components
Preparation of measurement studies to determine the valve sizes and creation of a corresponding test specification
Setting up test samples and carrying out tests in the RAPA central laboratory
Analysis of the measurement data and derivation of the valve-specific system variables

Your profile

Degree in mechanical engineering, design, mechatronics, precision engineering or a comparable course of study
(Basic) knowledge of CAD
Independent, structured way of working and a high degree of team spirit
Good language skills in German and English
