Have you decided to apply for a job at RAPA? Great! What happens now?

There is no strict plan. We tailor the process specifically to you, because you are unique and we want to proceed in a unique way. The next steps also depend on your professional experience and the position to be filled. The typical process is described below. It could be something like this for you.

Training application process

You have or would like to apply for an apprenticeship at RAPA? This is how our application process works.

  • Step 1

    Online application

    Please submit your documents via the online application form on our homepage or by e-mail to karriere@rapa.com. The application should contain a maximum of 3 documents in PDF format, e.g. cover letter, CV and certificates.

  • Step 2

    Examination of the documents

    As soon as you have applied, we will check your documents for completeness and whether formal criteria have been met, such as whether you have the right school-leaving certificate for your profession.

    Preselection

    An initial assessment is made on the basis of the training profile. If your application is convincing, we will invite you to an interview.

  • Step 4

    Interview

    We would like to get to know you in a personal interview lasting around 60 minutes, starting with questions about your CV. We are interested in your personality, your professional motivation and your hobbies and activities. Questions about training and the working environment can also be clarified.

    Taster day (optional)

    Following a positive introductory interview, there is the opportunity to get to know the team as well as the tasks on a taster day in various training and study professions.

    Decision Commitment

    We will inform you of our decision as soon as the selection process is complete. If the decision is positive, you will receive a confirmation by telephone and we will then clarify the contractual details. The training contract will then be sent to you immediately.

    Acceptance of the training position

    Before you start, you have to sign the training contract. If you are under the age of 18 before you start your apprenticeship, your parents or a legal guardian must agree to the contract and also sign it

Thank you for your interest in an apprenticeship with us! In addition to professional know-how, we attach great importance to the so-called cultural fit, i.e. the harmony between you and our corporate culture. Please note that in some cases the application process may differ slightly from the graphical representation in order to better meet individual needs. It is crucial for us that the application process not only suits you professionally, but also personally. We wish you every success!

    Online application

    You can upload your complete documents via the online application form on our homepage or send them to us by e-mail to karriere@rapa.com. You will receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail.

    Examination of the documents

    The HR and specialist departments review the application documents.

    Selection and feedback

    We will contact you and let you know the result of our check. Your documents have convinced us – then we will invite you to an interview.

  • Step 4

    Job interview

    In the interview we get to know each other better and gain an impression of you and you of us. Depending on the area of activity, we conduct a personal on-site interview or an online and personal interview. An initial meeting in a web interview via Teams and then a possible second interview at our location in Selb. Here we can build on the first meeting and deepen the professional exchange.

    Feedback and contract offer

    If it suits both sides, we will make you an attractive offer. All contractual details will now be clarified together and you will receive your employment contract.

    Entry and onboarding
