3. Collection and processing of personal data

Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person or describe their behavior, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, address, e-mail address or telephone number.

In accordance with the principle of data minimization, we only process personal data if this is absolutely necessary for the purposes described in this data protection declaration or to fulfill a purpose requested by you. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties, unless otherwise described in this declaration. 4. Legitimate interest

As part of our business activities, we process personal data of employees of business partners & contacts for the purpose of communication and conducting business activities. Only business data such as name, address of the company, telephone numbers & e-mail addresses and the corresponding content are processed.

This collection and processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest). The legitimate interest here lies in the two-sided execution of business activities and the communication for the execution of these. The storage period of the data is based on the statutory retention periods; they are deleted after the retention periods have expired.

In addition, we transmit data to affiliated companies of the Rausch & Pausch Group insofar as this is necessary for the preparation and/or execution of business activities. The processing here is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is based on an efficient corporate structure.

The storage of this data is subject to the relevant statutory provisions. They will be deleted after the retention periods have expired.

5. Contact for marketing purposes

In the course of marketing measures, we may contact you by post, telephone or e-mail to inform you about our products. The purpose of this processing is the marketing and distribution of our products.
We base the processing of your name and contact details on our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR, or with your consent pursuant to Art. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR, provided that we have obtained your consent for this purpose. We base our legitimate interest in particular on recital 47 sentence 7 of the GDPR, according to which the processing of personal data for the purpose of direct marketing can be regarded as processing for the purposes of a legitimate interest.

The data originates either from you (e.g. from the business card you have received), from third parties (e.g. forwarded by a superior) or from publicly accessible sources (e.g. commercial register, imprint, website, etc.).
The data will not be passed on to third parties. The only exceptions to this are processors who process the data on our behalf. Corresponding contractual provisions have been agreed with these service providers to ensure an appropriate level of data protection.
We only process the data for as long as we need it to achieve the above-mentioned purpose. A deletion would be justified, for example, by your objection to the processing or by an explicit request to delete your data. You have the right at any time pursuant to Art. 21 para. 2 GDPR to object to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.
If the marketing measure results in a business relationship, we will then process the data for the purpose of preparing and fulfilling the contract. We then store your data for the duration of the business relationship as well as for the fulfillment of legal obligations or for the defense and/or assertion of legal claims.

6. Deletion of personal data

We store personal data of the data subject only for the period of time necessary to achieve the purpose of storage. If the storage purpose no longer applies or if a storage period expires, the personal data will be deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

7. Rights of data subjects

As the data subject, you have the fundamental right to information about which personal data has been stored about you. Unless your request conflicts with a legal obligation to retain data, you have the right to have incorrect data corrected and to have your personal data deleted or its processing restricted. 8. Security of your data

Our security measures are continuously monitored and improved in line with technological developments and organizational possibilities.
