Dialysis valve with media separation

Precise safety for optimal dialysis treatment

This valve series has been specially developed for use in dialysis machines to ensure maximum safety and precision in dialysis treatment. The design of the 2/2-way solenoid valve takes into account the special requirements for medical devices and reliably performs safety-relevant functions. This is because incorrect procedures can have unpleasant or even life-threatening consequences for patients.

The valve is therefore designed so that a rubber bellows reliably separates the medium from the solenoid part of the valve and the entire valve chamber can be completely cleaned. The wetted parts, bellows and valve body, are highly resistant to aggressive media and, thanks to the biocompatible and physiologically suitable high-performance plastics and sealing materials used, are designed for use with a very long service life in dialysis machines. The valve can be controlled in an energy-saving manner and operates in a fail-safe and low-noise manner.

  • Suitable for neutral, aggressive or heat-sensitive fluids
  • Compact design and light weight
  • Easy integration
  • High reliability and durability
  • > 100 million switching cycles
  • Energy efficient
  • Practically no dead volume
  • Adaptable to customer-specific requirements

Media-separated solenoid valves are used in many areas, especially in the medical, dental, printing and paper processing, disinfection and water treatment industries.

  • Sterilization and disinfection systems
  • Water treatment
  • Liquid handling and process monitoring in various areas

Exclusive development of dialysis valve for Fresenius Medical Care

Dual sourcing with RAPA Healthcare

In exclusive cooperation with Fresenius Medical Care – the undisputed market leader in dialysis – we have developed an innovative special valve for dialysis machines.

The media-separated special valve is used as an inlet and outlet valve on the balance chamber. The valves open or close the inlet and outlet of the dialysis fluid system and ensure function and tightness in both flow directions and in the entire pressure range. The media is separated by an elastomer bellows. Depending on the model, between 30 and 50 of these innovative valves are used in a single dialysis machine.

Dialysis technology

Pioneering medical discipline and vital treatment option for people with kidney failure

Hemodialysis therapy places high demands on the safety and quality of the equipment used. The strict Medical Devices Act (MPG) stipulates that manufacturers, operators and users are equally responsible for ensuring maximum patient safety. This high level of quality and safety applies not only to the dialysis machines as a whole, but also to their individual components, such as valves and fluid control systems. In order to meet the demanding requirements, these components must not only be of high quality and technically sophisticated, but above all powerful and reliable.

As a specialized supplier, we are proud to meet precisely these requirements. Our valves and fluid control systems not only comply with legal requirements, but are also characterized by outstanding performance and reliability. We are your reliable partner for successfully mastering the requirements of dialysis technology.

The demand for dialysis technology will continue to rise due to demographic developments, and this will give rise to new therapies and technical challenges. Dialysis machine manufacturers can outsource these diverse valve and fluid control requirements and access external suppliers to help them stay on the cutting edge of technology and regulation.

Rely on our expertise and experience to optimize the safety and performance of your dialysis machines. Together, we are shaping the future of dialysis technology and ensuring better care for patients – today and in the years to come.
